1. The Service
Ping Me 24/7 ("we", "us", "our") provides a WhatsApp-based reminder service that helps UK residents track renewals, appointments, and recurring household commitments. The service is delivered entirely through WhatsApp.
By sending a message to the Ping Me 24/7 WhatsApp number, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use Ping Me 24/7.
- The service is currently available to UK residents with a UK WhatsApp number.
- You must have a valid WhatsApp account in good standing.
- By using the service, you confirm you are using it for personal, household, or family purposes — not for commercial resale or bulk messaging.
3. Opt-In and Consent
By sending the first message to the Ping Me 24/7 WhatsApp number, you:
- Consent to receiving WhatsApp reminder messages from this service
- Agree to receive utility reminder messages (not marketing) at the dates and times you specify
- Confirm that the WhatsApp number you are messaging from belongs to you or a family member who has authorised you to enrol them
You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or DELETE ACCOUNT.

All prices include VAT where applicable. Prices are in GBP and may be updated — you will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
5. Billing and Cancellation
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) via Stripe.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time by typing CANCEL PLAN in the chat or via the billing portal link we provide.
- On cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period, unless required by law.
- If payment fails, we will retry up to 3 times before downgrading your account to the free plan.
- Annual plan: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and have not used the service materially, you are entitled to a full refund under UK consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Ping Me 24/7 to:
- Send or receive any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to access, reverse-engineer or exploit the underlying system
- Create accounts on behalf of others without their consent
- Use the service in any way that violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service or Business Policy
- Circumvent subscription limits (e.g. creating multiple free accounts)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without prior notice.
7. WhatsApp Compliance
Ping Me 24/7 operates through the WhatsApp Business API and complies with WhatsApp's Business Policy. In particular:
- All messages sent by Ping Me 24/7 are utility messages (reminders you have explicitly set up) — not marketing or promotional messages
- Users opt in by messaging the service first
- The service includes opt-out mechanisms (PAUSE, STOP, DELETE ACCOUNT)
- We do not send unsolicited bulk messages
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide the service 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service depends on third-party infrastructure (WhatsApp, Twilio, Supabase) which may have their own outages.
Reminder delivery is on a best-efforts basis. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that every reminder will be delivered at the exact time scheduled due to factors outside our control (e.g. WhatsApp delivery failures, network issues).
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or cost arising from a missed renewal, appointment, or payment, whether or not you received a reminder from Ping Me 24/7
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
10. Intellectual Property
The Ping Me 24/7 brand, logo, website, and service are owned by us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Content you provide (reminder text, dates, provider names) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store it for the purpose of delivering the service.
11. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify active users via WhatsApp at least 14 days in advance. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We may also update, modify, or discontinue features of the service. We will give reasonable notice for any significant changes.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a UK consumer, you also have rights under applicable UK consumer protection law that these terms do not affect.
